Ways to give

Option	Amount
One-time	$3, $5, or $7
Monthly: Shockwave Supporter	$5
Monthly: Clockwork Captain	$7

Pick whichever on the Ko-fi page itself. There's nothing to set up here on Shockwave's side.

What your support goes toward

The reference instance (the one you add from the homepage) runs around the clock, and every donation helps cover its hosting. The rest goes toward the time spent building and maintaining Shockwave itself: new features, bug fixes, and keeping up with changes to the Discord API.

Entirely optional, no perks attached

Donating doesn't unlock anything. No perks are currently given for it: no exclusive cosmetics, no elo boost, no feature only a supporter gets. Every trading-card title, color scheme, and font is earned through achievements or bought with in-game gold, same as everyone else, see the Terms of Service on why that gold is never for sale either.

Shockwave will never become a paid service. Every command and feature stays free whether you've ever donated or not. A donation is a tip for work already given away, not a purchase. Supporter-only perks may show up down the line, but if they do, this page and the Terms of Service will say so plainly instead of it changing quietly.

How Ko-fi works

Ko-fi is a tipping platform built for exactly this: supporting a creator directly, with no platform fee taken out of a one-time tip. Card payments are actually processed by Stripe, Ko-fi's payment processor. Shockwave (the bot or this site) never sees or stores your payment details. That transaction happens entirely on Ko-fi and Stripe, governed by Ko-fi's own terms and privacy policy, not Shockwave's.
